Thank you!

Thank you Naper Days supporters! As you might have heard, Naper Days has been retired and will not be held in 2010. Although Naper Days has been enjoyed by the community for many years, declining revenues combined with the current economic environment has led to its cancellation.

“We hope the community will support our new events like Dinner on the Town and Oktoberfest,” said John Buckley, Director of Institutional Advancement. “We’re also looking at other fundraising opportunities for the future.”

Buckley said Naper Days has enjoyed a strong volunteer base that worked diligently to make the event successful.

“We value and appreciate our volunteers and the time and effort they dedicated over the years to benefit Naper Settlement and the Naperville Heritage Society,” Buckley said.

Naper Settlement continues to host thriving events, such as Civil War Days, Naperville Summer Nights, All Hallows Eve, the History Speaks Lecture Series and holiday-themed programming for visitors to enjoy.

Thanks again for all your support over the past six years!
